Hi, I’m Tony Martin!
I’m a Christian life coach, writer, teacher, and encourager who helps spiritually weary believers recover their peace, clarify their calling, and stop pretending they’re fine so they can serve from a place of purpose instead of pressure.
I’ve spent more than 40 years in ministry, writing, teaching, mentoring, and helping people work through faith, life, purpose, and all the messy middle places where those things collide.
I’m also a John Maxwell Team certified coach, the creator of Transformational Encouragement, and the kind of person who can get fired up about a good Bible study, a strong cup of coffee, a useful worksheet, or a grandkid story that may or may not be relevant but will probably get told anyway.
These days, my greatest joy is helping Christians who feel tired, stuck, or spiritually disconnected stop drifting, start healing, and rediscover the life and calling God has placed in front of them.
I’m a Mississippi guy, a husband, dad, granddad, longtime writer, and part-time magician — which means I’ve spent a lot of years trying to help people see what’s right in front of them, sometimes with a deck of cards and sometimes with an open Bible.
I'm here to serve you.
Why I created Transformational Encouragement.
I wanted to take what God had been teaching me through years of ministry, writing, coaching, and encouraging people, and package it into something that could help more Christians find their way forward.
I created Transformational Encouragement because I kept seeing sincere believers who loved God but felt tired, stuck, unclear, or quietly disconnected from the life and calling they sensed they were meant to live.
I wanted to give them more than inspiration; I wanted to give them a guided process with coaching, teaching, prayer, community, and real support.
I also believe that Christians should not have to keep pretending they’re fine while their souls are running on fumes.
They deserve a place where they can be honest, recover their peace, reclaim their voice, and begin serving from purpose instead of pressure.
